Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will work on commercial carpentry projects, including doors, frames, cabinets, fixtures, and steel stud drywall. Responsibilities include designing, constructing, installing, remodeling, retrofitting, and repairing interior and exterior structures made of wood, drywall, plaster, concrete, or brick. You will also design and construct cabinets, tables, shelves, benches, partitions, flooring, door and window frames, and other furniture. Additional duties include cleaning, maintaining, adjusting, calibrating, and servicing equipment, as well as installing, repairing, and maintaining building roofs. You will assist in writing specifications for repairs and new construction.

This is a full time contract position with various customers throughout West MI

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Work Environment

Candidates will work on commercial and industrial sites. They must be comfortable working at heights. Job sites can vary from hot and humid to cold and wet conditions. Must be comfortable being outside in various weather conditions.
