AI Researcher - contractor

Job Summary

In order to provide the best-possible experience for our customers, we’re looking for world class

experts in Graphics AI research.

As an AI researcher contractor with the team, you will invent, implement, and deploy state of the art robust graphics AI algorithms and systems targeted to enhancing existing Game Graphics solutions.

You will be working on projects that builds on cross-domain topics: AI, Computer Vision and Graphics.

You will build prototypes and explore conceptually new solutions. You will interact closely with both AI and Computer Graphics teams. A successful candidate should have hands-on experience in at least one AI research domain most preferably neural rendering, differentiable rendering and inverse rendering. You will be developing high-quality performant AI based game graphic systems targeted for mobile devices.


Job Purpose:

1. Be responsible for researching neural rendering solutions targeted for real-time mobile game

rendering.

2. Integrate AI algorithms targeted for enhancing Computer Graphics pipeline both in efficiency

and quality.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Researching, Designing and developing complete AI based Graphics algorithms for mobile

phone games including AAA games.

2. Tackling technical challenges and reshaping AI research solution to become product

compatible solution.

3. Identify new AI technologies and plan for future projects and product solutions.

4. Contribute to project requirements and understand AI product deployment tradeoffs.

5. Establishing and creating datasets that meet product deployment scenarios.

6. Develop evaluation metrics to assess our computer vision and graphic algorithm solution

robustness under different deployment scenarios.

7. Analyse and improve efficiency and performance of solutions for either cloud or on-device

deployment.

8. Documenting and reporting progress to your team/senior management and to crosslocation/functional teams.

9. Collaborate with cross-functional/location managers, researchers and engineers.

Person Specification:

List details of Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications needed to do the job:

Required:

• Master/PhD degree in Machine Learning/Computer science/computer vision or related

technical domain. • 4+ years of industry experience working on projects in: computer vision, 3D reconstruction,deep learning, machine learning, graphics.

• Expertise in AI, Machine Learning and Deep Learning

• Experience developing systems for manipulating image/video and multi-modality content.

• Experience in collecting, cleaning and creating datasets for AI model development.

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in at least one of the deep learning frameworks (e.g.,

Tensorflow, Caffe2, Pytorch, MxNet, Torch, etc.).

• Record of publications in top-tier conferences: CVPR, ECCV/ICCV, SIGGRAPH, BMVC,

NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR.


• DESIRED (But Not Essential)

o Experience in Cloud or on-device AI model deployment.

o Have experience of shipping computer vision or 3D Reconstruction and Modelling experience

into commercial products and play a key role in these product deployment.

o Experience in Generative AI is preferred.

o Have knowledge of Semi-supervised Learning, Unsupervised Learning, Transfer Learning,

Long Life Learning is preferred.

o Interpersonal experience: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration

o Experience with CPU/GPU/NPU optimization.

o Good written and spoken English.
