Are you a hands on Marketing professional?
You can do the strategy stuff but love getting involved in the nitty gritty?
Fancy being a key stakeholder in a business that’s on an amazing journey?
We’re supporting a niche business in the hunt for a new expert to head up the Marketing function based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a fundamental part of the company’s success as they embark on an exciting period of growth.
Now they don’t want any marketing manager, they want the full package! This role is so important given where the company are going, they need someone who’s just as passionate about the brand as they are.
But.... we're not looking for someone who just wants to manage people. We can't stress enough just how hands on this role is –it's your expertise were interested in, not your people management skills.
You’ll have previously worked in a fast paced environment, managing budgets, setting out the marketing plan and be a strong people manager. You’ll be able to implement a successful marketing strategy enabling the company to expand their target audience, brand perception and ultimately generation of revenue. If we were to use an analogy you’d be a player manager. Oh and you’ve got to thrive juggling a load of activity all at once!
So who are you? You must must must have previous marketing experience in the world of Software , Saas preferably – this is non negotiable.
You’ll be experienced across all aspects of marketing, from setting budgets to SEO optimisation, Strategy & forecasting to Social platform creation & management, planning trade shows to analysis reporting. You also must have solid experience of managing an external agency.
The above is just a snapshot, the role itself is even juicier!
On a personal level you’ll be mega organised, have bags of self motivation & initiative and be a real self starter. Communication is key, you’ll have an analytical mind and be a natural influencer.
