This large and fast-growing telecoms infrastructure business, with over 2000 employees throughout Europe, are looking for a smart, commercial and a technically able lawyer to join their expanding team.
They are happy to consider someone with a private practice background, looking for their first in house role, or someone already working in house who is looking for their next challenge.
They are looking for someone who is seeking a generalist commercial in house role, but who has some knowledge of corporate law to assist the Head of Legal with documentation from previous M&A activity.
You will also work with the team to deal with negotiating and drafting commercial contracts of varying complexity.
The role will involve:
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts and other legal documents, including supplier/vendor agreements, customer contracts, licensing agreements, services contracts, NDAs and tender documents
- Dealing with the regulatory and compliance work.
- Working with the Head of Legal and Corporate M&A team on M&A activity and post-completion implementation (due diligence requirements; analysing and briefing the Executive Team and driving projects to completion).
- Leading on day to day company secretarial work, alongside external advisors and junior team members

Essential Requirements:
- A UK qualified lawyer with a minimum of 8 years PQE in Commercial Law or Corporate Law gained either in house or in private practice
- Some regulatory & corporate governance experience
- An interest in the telecoms sector
