Permanent role
Double day shift - AM & PM shift rotation
Summary
SPS Technologies are working in partnership as they look to increase their team. Due to retirement of long-standing employees and a large aerospace contract, they need additional CNC machinists to join the team on a permanent basis.

The Job
Setting up and run machines in accordance with standard operating procedures
Control and adjust machine settings (i.e., Speeds and feeds relevant to individual job dimension and material specifications)
Inspect parts with precision measuring tools (i.e., Calliper, micrometre etc) at pre-determined frequency
Reading and understanding engineering drawings.
Follow and maintain established safety rules and regulations including mandatory wearing of PPE
The Ideal Candidate
CNC setting background.
Experience in a manufacturing, mechanical or production environment.
Working well as part of a team
Proactive approach to work
Working under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
