Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to take responsibility for multiple sites throughout the UK. Based in Warrington you will report directly to the Commercial & Business Development Director of the UK’s leading provider of airfield services for both military and civil airfields, serving national and international markets. The company are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance across all of their operational sites.

Overall Job Purpose:
As the QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality, health, safety, and environmental processes across multiple sites. You will ensure that all locations operate in line with the necessary ISO standards and comply with HSE regulations, leading continuous improvement efforts across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and maintain ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 90001:2018 standards, ensuring compliance across multiple sites, and liaising with external bodies for accreditation.

Implement and manage the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring consistency across all locations and reporting on performance and improvements.

Conduct site safety audits at all operational sites, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.

Manage risk assessment registers and ensure Construction Phase Management Plans are followed across all project locations.

Ensure equipment across all sites complies with LOLER & PUWER legislation, managing periodic inspections.

Maintain and monitor all QHSE statistics across multiple locations, ensuring corrective and preventative actions are implemented where necessary.

Oversee waste management compliance, including licenses and environmental obligations across all sites.

Ensure consistency in maintaining the company’s Safety Management System in line with ISO 45001.

Manage and review all policies in line with regulatory requirements, ensuring they are consistently applied across all operational sites.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

Degree qualified

NEBOSH qualified

Experience:

5 years of experience in a production/industrial engineering environment, with exposure to multiple sites.

Experience with both QA and QC procedures.

Proven track record of leading ISO 9001 accreditation processes across various locations.

Demonstrated success in implementing HSE procedures and monitoring performance across multiple sites.

Experience in carbon footprint reduction initiatives.

Skills & Knowledge:

Strong communication skills, able to engage with teams across multiple locations.

Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, providing practical solutions.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Knowledge of health and safety legislation and modern manufacturing processes.

Competencies:

Results-oriented with a focus on high-quality outcomes.

Analytical problem-solver with a customer-focused mindset.

Self-driven and effective at managing time and performance across different locations.

Additional Requirements:

EU National / Valid work permit.

UK driver’s license.

Willingness to travel to multiple UK and overseas sites as required.
