Paint Shop Operatives

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Paint Shop Operative to join a rapidly growing company at its modern fabrication facility on the outskirts of Preston. This is a 26-week contract role, with the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate. Offering a pay rate of £12.40 per hour, the successful candidate will join a dynamic team during an exciting period of expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow Standard Operating Procedures and daily work schedules
Use hand tools to prepare parts for powder coating
Operate Phoswash and oven to prepare parts
Hang parts on racks for coating
Assign paint colours to jobs and prepare cabinets for coating
Sand, mask, and bung parts as needed
Load sprayed items into the oven and operate the oven
