Job Description
A leading multidisciplinary construction and property consultancy is seeking a skilled Building Control Surveyor to join their North West team. This role is ideal for an individual who is keen to apply their expertise in ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards across a diverse range of projects.
The Building Control Surveyor's Role
Inspections and Compliance - Conducting thorough inspections of building works to ensure they meet current building regulations and standards.
Certification and Reporting - Preparing detailed reports and certifying building works, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Advisory Services - Providing expert advice to clients, contractors, and architects on compliance matters and safety improvements.
Collaboration - Working closely with other team members and departments to deliver projects successfully and ensure safety standards are integrated from the design phase to completion.
The Successful Building Control Surveyor Requirements
Proven experience as a Building Control Surveyor within the construction industry.
Relevant industry qualifications such as MRICS, MCABE, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of current building regulations and standards.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
A proactive and collaborative mindset to work efficiently within a team environment.
