About the company
Our client are a sub-contractors in the Gloucester area that use heavy machinery. They have been going over 60 years and manufacture for a variety of industries such as marine, aerospace and dental.
This is an excellent position for an experience Workshop Manager or a skilled Engineer that is interested in taking the next step in their career. Our client can offer training and help with this position.
As a Workshop Manager your duties will include:
* Being hands on with the CNC Machines
* Supervising a staff of 15 engineers
* Ensure that the staff are working efficiently
* Encourage good workplace practices to ensure safety
* Ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner
The ideal candidates for this Workshop Manager opportunity will have:
* An engineering background, ideally working on various CNC Machines
* Previous experience welding would be ideal
* Supervisor / Team Leader experience
* Working in a sub contract environment previously
As a CNC Turner you will work:
* Monday – Friday
* 7am – 4pm, 12pm finish on Fridays
* Up to £45,000 annual salary
