Job Description

Associate Partner/Partner - Infrastructure Property Services

Location: Bristol

Contract Type: Permanent


Our client, a leading UK property consultancy, is seeking an experienced RICS Qualified Surveyor at Associate Partner/Partner level for their Bristol office. This is an excellent opportunity to provide strategic property services for nationally significant infrastructure projects across rail, road, energy and transport sectors.


Position Overview

In this key role, you will deliver valuation reports, develop new business opportunities, and provide specialist advice on statutory processes to support the delivery of major infrastructure projects for national bodies and corporate investors.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver valuation reports per client instructions and RICS standards
  • Develop new business opportunities and drive local initiatives
  • Source sites for infrastructure developments
  • Negotiate option/lease agreements, valuations and professional matters
  • Conduct feasibility studies and development appraisals
  • Ensure high service standards and professional conduct
  • Negotiate disturbance claims post-works
  • Obtain consents for access across third-party land
  • Provide guidance on area activities
  • Advise on statutory and sectorial process changes
  • Manage lease events, asset acquisitions and disposals
  • Identify opportunities and mitigate risks and liabilities


Requirements

  • RICS qualified and registered valuer
  • Extensive experience in general practice/infrastructure surveying
  • Business development focus and customer service excellence
  • Compulsory Purchase experience desirable (training provided)
  • Rural surveying experience beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ambitious with drive for continuous self-development
  • Ability to drive initiatives and manage relationships
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Friendly, empathetic, diplomatic and approachable
  • Thrives in fast-paced, flexible work environments
  • Full driving licence essential for travel
