Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team in Oldham. This full-time position offers the chance for a temp-to-perm contract, with the potential to extend until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing tailored support to students with a variety of learning needs
Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Working one-on-one with pupils or in small groups to ensure they receive the targeted support needed
Helping to develop and implement personalised learning plans for students
Supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of students
Promoting a positive, inclusive classroom environment for all learnersRequirements:
Previous experience in a Learning Support or Teaching Assistant role
Experience working with children with additional needs is highly desirable
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students' holistic development
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Relevant qualifications such as a Teaching Assistant certificate (desirable)Benefits:
