We are partnering with a leading construction company seeking an Ecologist to join their team. This role offers a mix of fieldwork and office-based tasks, providing a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in a dynamic and diverse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct habitat and protected species surveys, including bat and bird surveys.
• Provide Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) support on various projects.
• Analyze survey data to develop practical ecological recommendations.
• Prepare detailed reports to communicate findings and proposed actions.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure ecological requirements are met.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in ecological consultancy or a related field.
• Degree in an environmental or related subject (preferred).
• Progressing towards or holding a Protected Species Licence is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
