An exciting opportunity has arisen at my clients Manufacturing Plant based in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. Located just off junction 6/7 of the M53, they are a well-established car manufacturer in the area.

We are currently looking to recruit Multi Skilled Maintenance to work at the Ellesmere Port Manufacturing Site.

The positions will be for a minimum of 9 months fixed term contract or we also have permanent roles available

The role will be on 3 shift rotational pattern, 37.5 hrs per week with the opportunity for overtime. There is a Day shift (6.30am – 2.30pm), afternoon shift (2.30pm – 10.30pm) and a night shift (10.30pm – 6.30am).

The main responsibilities and role requirements are as follows:

• Reactive maintenance to resolve breakdowns.

• Performing planned maintenance tasks.

• Support the production teams during production runs.

• Systematic problem solving for repetitive issues/faults.

• CIP – apply continuous improvement process.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Time Served Apprenticeship – Multiskilled (Electrical and Mechanical) – Minimum Qualification ONC/HNC

• Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC and devices advantageous

• Fanuc Robot, Programming & set-up advantageous

• Understanding of Hydraulic & Pneumatic circuits advantageous

• Sound interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• A high level of self-motivation and tenacity
