Quantity Surveyor

GVR Solutions are representing one of their longest clients who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Essex.

The client undertakes projects within the Prime Residential, Grade II listed buildings, Commercial, Education and Healthcare sector. The works they take on are design & build, refurbishments, Fit out, conversions and extensions.

The Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities:

• Cost control, planning and forecasting
• Managing client variations
• Valuations and Applications for payment
• Feasibility studies
• Cost benefit analysis
• Writing reports and preparing documents (plans, contracts, budgets etc.)
• Risk analysis evaluations
• Dispute resolution and cost justification
• Assist in monitoring the stages of a project to make sure that costs are kept in line with forecasts
