Job Description
Electrical Team Leader Position Available.
12 hour Days
£42,000 per year
Role & Responsibilities:
* Lead a multidisciplinary team of skilled and apprentice craftsmen.
* Improve site performance and reliability.
* Plan labour and material requirements for plant needs.
* Delegate activities of Team Members and contractors.
* Undertake Technician role as required.
* Carry out PPM inspections.
* Coordinate and supervise other services and contractors.
* Deputise for 1st Line engineering management.
* Write and review risk assessments, method statements, and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety instructions.
* Use the Maintenance management system for maintenance activities.
* A customer-focused attitude with an understanding - Manage the permitting system for the department.
* Undertake training to learn new skills.
* Involvement in plant improvement projects.
* Respond to breakdowns under own initiative.
* Deliver business communications to the team.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
* A recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship (Preferably HNC but minimum ONC level or equivalent).
* Plant engineering knowledge and experience of industrial systems such as: AC & DC circuits, Hydraulic systems, Pumps, drives, gearboxes, Robotics and PLCs
* Self-starting driven individual capable of leading a small team.
* Ability to work with cross-functional groups.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to methodically fault find any issues to root cause and front-line rectification.
