Social Media Executive - Hybrid Working

We are working with an award-winning, family-run organisation on the lookout for a Social Media Executive to join their team in the Cotswolds. This is an incredible opportunity to join an extremely well known, international company with exciting times ahead.

Your day-to-day world will revolve around Social Media; creating and sharing engaging, and relevant content, targeted across all social media channels, and building relationships with bloggers and key social media partners.

This will involve a blend of scheduling posts and sending real-time responses to followers as well as working with the Content Editor, contributing to the creation and building of e-Newsletters, blogs, and other content pages.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for a range of communications, from copywriting to content and social media activities

* Own the consumer social media strategy and day-to-day management of all consumers social media activities across all social media channels

* Support the Brand Manager with the overall social media strategy and calendar of activities

* Schedule posts and reels to be distributed on social media sites

* Respond to retail customer comments across social media channels

* Seek out and build relationships with likeminded brands, influencers, and bloggers, ensuring the most relevant audiences are reached

* Organise monthly competitions (both own brand and collaborative), targeted paid social campaigns and cost-effective customer acquisition

* Work with the Marketing team to assist and provide backup support with the planning and creation of written content for all inbound and outbound marketing activities e.g. Company catalogues, brochures, website pages.

* Internal communications; generate monthly reports on social media activity, successes and upcoming campaigns

* Respond to retail customer comments across social media channels

* News and media monitoring as well as researching new and upcoming social media trends / changes

KEY SKILLS

Experience within a similar role, either in-house or with a creative agency, and the ability to demonstrate your abilities with an engaging, creative and commercially effective portfolio of work.

Customer Orientated: You will understand why the customer is the focus of everything done by the business

Written Communication: Exceptional writing and editorial skills including an understanding of what makes compelling reading - from headlines to compelling content and how to make an audience want to return for more. Tone, brevity and focus are essential in communicating messages correctly.

Creative: A passion for all things creative will help drive success within the business. Thinking creatively will be as important as an eye for detail.

Methodical: Official channels act as the 'authority’ for all business resources internally and externally. It is therefore essential that the content produced is done in a considered, consistent and methodical manner.

Resilient and Flexible Approach: Deal positively with pressure and deadlines

Conceptual Thinking: The ability to find effective solutions by taking a holistic and/or abstract perspective
