Power BI Developer - Data Analytics

Exp level : 7 to 10 Yrs. Notice Period : 15 Days. Work Location : Bangalore (WFO) Functional Area : POWER BI Developer, Custom Query, R and Python integration in Power BI. Required Microsoft Power BI developer who can assist in developing, maintaining and supporting operational reports, dashboards, and other solutions for clients in different businesses dealing with various types of challenging data. Candidates must have strong communication skills that allow you to regularly deal with the business, as well as with specialists from related fields, including database developers, and software engineers. Responsibilities : - Experience in creating dashboards, volume reports, operating summaries, and presentations and graphs. - Experience in Data Gateway for data refreshing, content Pack Library. - Expertise in setting up connection of Power BI with various sources. - Experience in Custom Query, R and Python integration in Power BI. Skills Requirement : - Proficient at data visualization using Power BI and a strong application development. - Implementation of Row Level Security by defining various constraints for each defined ROLE. - Knowledge on Azure, HANA and other complex sources using direct query or import methods. - Experience in implementing performance best practices and dashboard designing practices. - Experience in handling huge dataset and replicating reports from Spotfire to Power BI. - In-depth understanding of Power BI and how it works in different scenarios. - Should be able to understand business requirements. - Candidate should be excellent in writing DAX in MS Power BI Desktop. - Need to have experience in creating calculated measures and columns with DAX in MS Power BI Desktop. - Expert knowledge using advanced calculations using MS Power BI Desktop (Aggregate, Date, Logical, String, Table). - Good at creating different visualizations using Slicers, Lines, Pies, Histograms, Maps, Scatter, Bullets, Heat Maps, Tree maps, etc (ref:hirist.tech)
