Job Description
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leasing agents to create construction budgets that minimize costs while meeting customer expectations.
- Deliver exceptional service to tenants, coordinating closely with leasing, design, construction, development, and property management teams.
- Maintain up-to-date historical cost data for accurate in-house estimating.
- Develop and regularly update project schedules.
- Manage all aspects of permit processing, from application to issuance.
- Coordinate with local utilities to ensure timely service delivery.
- Solicit and review bids for all project trades.
- Provide field supervision as needed.
- Prepare contracts and negotiate changes with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Review, authorize, and track invoices.
- Manage change orders for out-of-scope work and ensure timely payment for additional services.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in construction project supervision; tenant improvement experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of construction trades and excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
