Job Description

Position: Sales Representative - Non-Asset Based 3PL


Responsibilities:

  • Customer Acquisition: Proactively contact and engage new customers, leveraging your unique skills to secure sales.
  • Process Development: Create and implement systems for effective prospect identification, qualification, and management.
  • Sales Closing: Effectively sell and close deals with new shippers.
  • Business Development: Build and maintain a robust book of business.
  • Strategy Execution: Implement strategies through prospect outreach, proposal development, presentations, and follow-ups.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with transportation brokers to optimize load volumes from new customers through regular sales meetings and strategy sessions.
  • Standards Maintenance: Uphold company principles regarding customer service, company values, and office culture.


Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in non-asset based 3PL sales.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Dry Van, Reefer and/or Flatbed
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem Solving: Strong ability to resolve issues effectively.
  • Motivation: Self-motivated, driven, and eager to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Independence: Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable with computers and technology.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed for sales activities.
