The Role
Due to our continuing expansion, my client is looking for a Fabricator/Welder to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serving as the primary contact for the safe and efficient operation of the brake press.
* Taking lead responsibility for welding tasks.
* Delivering high-quality results in all work.
* Interpreting technical drawings and documentation accurately.
* Confidently asking questions and offering suggestions for improvement.
* Advising on optimal processes and recommending the best suppliers based on experience.
* Ensuring all operations comply with the company’s health and safety standards.
* Consistently and accurately logging project details through timesheet reporting.
* Completing necessary administrative tasks in alignment with production activities
* Normal Hours: Monday-Thursday 08.00 to 17.00, Friday 08.00 to 14.00
Requirements:
Experience working in a fabrication environment
An experienced welder and fabricator
MIG and TIG welding experience
Able to use a brake press
Hard-working individual
Strong communication skills
Salary
The salary offered for this position is £13- £16 per hour plus overtime to a candidate who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
