Maintenance Planner Scheduler - roof repairs

We are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Scheduler to work in our roofingrepairs team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Running daily schedules for Roofing team including allocating works to subcontractors and arranging scaffold
• Updating our in-house system with notes
• Scheduling jobs on roofers
• Continually liaising with Roofers, tenants and clients (local authority or housing association) by phone, email (approximately 60 per day) and live chat regarding updates on repairs.
• Logging multiple engineer work requests onto the in-house job management system and tracking each request through to completion
• Uploading reports and raising purchase orders

Skills / Experience for this role:

• Knowledge of roofing structures / materials would be greatly advantageous
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Ability to multi-task to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment
• Experience of scheduling routes and issuing jobs to engineers is required for this job

This is a permanent full-time position based in our office (not remote working).

Hours of work are8am-5pmMonday to Friday withone Saturday or Sunday in four paid in addtion to salary.
