Key Responsibilities:
Support the purchasing team in sourcing and procuring materials and services for construction projects.
Assist in the preparation and management of supplier contracts and negotiations.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
Collaborate with project managers to forecast material requirements and ensure timely delivery.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Facilitate communication between various departments to streamline the procurement process.Qualifications:
Relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the construction or building materials sector.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office ; experience with procurement software is a plus.
