Job Description

Sourcing Manager - Corporate Services (multi-role campaign) | £52,000 to £58,000 | 28 days holiday + BH | Private Healthcare | Amazing Pension | 75% Travel Discounts | Milton Keynes HQ - 1 day a week in the office | UK Largest Infrastructure business for Travel

In order to be suitable for this opportunity, you will have full end-to-end procurement experience, with a strategic mindset and have experience in working with and managing senior level stakeholders.


Not essential, but preferable; anyone with UCR, PCR, OJEU or being trained on the PA 23 could be advantageous.


Role and responsibilities:

  • Create relevant category strategies through to the delivery and performance including year on year annualised savings
  • Develop category plans and strategies to ensure alignment for the group, leveraging suppliers to support local offices
  • Support the development of category strategies to a clear and prioritised pipeline of sourcing projects
  • Engage, manage and influence senior stakeholders from Director to Board level to ensure buy-in, utilising strong market knowledge
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a rounded knowledge of a suppliers performance
  • Monitor supplier risk and performance through reporting tools and business feedback
  • Be a Procurement role model by living company values, consistently delivering to the high standards expected, promoting procurement through relationships
  • On top over delivering strategic projects, ensure the business is getting the best service in line with cost efficiency


Experience and requirements:

  • Worked for a large, complex and multi-site business
  • UCR, PCR, OJEU or being trained on the PA 23
  • Broad indirect and corporate services category experience
  • Ability to engage, negotiate and influence senior stakeholders up to Director level+
  • Strong stakeholder management, using different approaches to type, level and maturity of relationship
  • Analytical mindset and have strong communication skills to present ideas to the business
  • Worked in a large and cross-functional procurement team
  • MCIPS qualification nice to have, but not essential
