Legal Counsel - Commercial and Litigation – In-house - NQ+

We are proud and excited to be working with a prestigious global automotive company to recruit a junior legal counse to join the UK legal team. For this role we are ideally seeking an English qualified solicitor with commercial litigation or general commercial experience. You should have a strong academic record and must have trained and qualified in a leading regional, national, or international law firm the UK. .

The role will be supporting both the company’s senior litigator and senior legal counsel covering a wide range of issues including contentious matters and also contractual arrangements. On the contentious side the disputes vary from small claims and county court matters up to large, complex and lengthy commercial litigation. You will also be supporting the senior commercial lawyer handling commercial agreements and issues that arise in relation to the dealerships, franchises and distribution network the company operates.

The role will suit somebody who is confident, personable, and keen to learn. You must be comfortable working in a hybrid environment and able to prioritise and manage your workload. You will encounter colleagues both within and outside of the legal team at all levels so strong communication skills are key.
