Caretaker/Coolant Controller

Pro-Found Recruitment are looking for a Caretaker/Coolant Controller for our client based in Dronfield, S18

Caretaker/Coolant Controller Benefits:

• Salary: £11.50 to £12.50 per hour
• Location: Dronfield, S18
• Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm + Friday 8am - 3.30pm (30 min lunch break + 2 x 10 min breaks) 39 hour basic working week.
• Contract: Permanent

Caretaker/Coolant Controller Duties:

• Keeping the warehouse floors clean with sweeping and floor cleaning machine.
• Cleaning CNC machines down including the top to keep them in good condition.
• Coolant checks to be carried out.
• Correcting the levels from the coolant checks to make sure the machines are running at their optimum level. This involves working alongside outside contractors who monitor the levels every month.
• Emptying swarf from the small swarf bins into the swarf skips & cleaning up any spillages.
• Dealing with all internal scrap, swarf and solids and liaising with scrap company. Cleaning up any oil that may have leaked from the scrap.
• Disposing of machine oil as per HSE guidelines.
• Make sure oil drums are collected every couple of weeks.
• General external maintenance i.e. weed removing around the full perimeter of the building / sweeping car park to remove metal turnings & litter picking.
