We are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction company based in Southport. Our client specializes in managing NHS fit-out projects ranging from £500k to £4 million. The role offers exciting growth potential, with the business expanding significantly over the coming years. You will work closely with high-profile clients in healthcare, education, and emergency services.

Location: Southport
Salary:Circa £55,000 per year
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the entire life cycle of projects, from early tendering stages through to final completion.
• Managing project costs to ensure value for money and financial control throughout.
• Contributing to project strategy, with the hiring manager welcoming input on operational decisions.
• Preparing and negotiating contracts, handling variations, and ensuring budget adherence.
• Collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a solid understanding of construction and fit-out projects.
• Skilled in cost management, contract administration, and project budgeting.
• Strong communication skills, able to work closely with project teams and influence decisions.
• Ambitious and driven, looking for a clear path to Senior QS and ultimately Commercial Manager.
