Revit MEP Technician
Permanent
Location – REMOTE
Salary – Per Annum Negotiable depending on experience
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of the UK's successful gold value-added resellers of industry software, IT hardware, infrastructure, consultancy, and data service solutions is looking for an accomplished Architecture, Engineering and Construction AEC Application Engineer, to move them forward. They offer a range of training options including structured courses at our four training centres, onsite training, bespoke courses, and mentoring days. Due to expansion, they are now looking for a Senior Revit MEP Technician/ MEP BIM Digital Engineer to join their team.
You must be a team player, eager to learn and passionate about the construction industry. You will be customer focused and be great at forming new relationships with new and existing customers, helping to ensure that they receive the best possible service. You will have at least 4 years’ experience in a Construction or Offsite Manufacturing background creating Mechanical, Electrical, or Public Health models/drawings to RIBA Stage 5 and a high Level of Detail. Your role as a MEP Digital Engineer, will involve working with a variety of MEP Contractors & Tier 1 Contractors alongside supporting the Construction division. My client would also consider someone on a contract basis.
Responsibility & Duties
* Modelling MEP Models to RIBA Stage 5 and a high Level of Detail.
* Creating Layout Drawings for General Arrangements, MEP Layouts, or for 2D Markups, including modelled elements and annotations.
* Creating Manufacturer specific Revit Models / Families.
* Creating Parametric / Dynamic Revit Families for flexible use.
* Implement and retain specifications & Revit models.
* Working with BIM Execution Plans & extracting project requirements.
* Providing MEP coordination advice to design partners.
* Pre-Sales support for AEC prospects including technical qualification and preparation.
* Proactive customer account management to identify opportunities.
* Marketing assistance to develop collateral across all forms of social media
Experience & Qualification
* Experience in producing MEP Models to RIBA Stage 5 and a high Level of Detail.
* Advanced knowledge in Revit with a specific focus on MEP modelling / drawing production.
* Foundational knowledge in AutoCAD and Navisworks
* Knowledge of MEP detailing for Manufacturing / Fabrication in Revit.
* Experience working with Offsite Contractors, or in MMC project works.
* Experience with installation drawings for onsite use
* Working knowledge of wider design tools such as Dynamo, Rhino, SketchUp, 3DSMax, is advantageous but not essential.
