Job Title: SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Ideal for Sports Coaches/Basketball Enthusiasts)
Location: Firswood, Manchester
Position: Full-Time TA (1:1 Support)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long-term Temporary
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
About the Role:
Are you a passionate sports coach, especially with a love for basketball, looking to transition into education? We are seeking a dedicated SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 student who requires extra help with their school routine. This is a great opportunity for someone with coaching experience who can bring their motivational and mentoring skills into a classroom environment.
What You'll Bring:
· Experience in sports coaching, particularly basketball, with transferable skills in discipline, motivation, and building positive relationships.
· Patience, resilience, and the ability to create a structured learning environment for a student with additional needs.
· A passion for helping young people overcome challenges and succeed in both academic and social settings.
· An understanding of primary school routines and expectations to support students in their learning.
