Senior Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our compassionate team at 32STAR, where we provide exceptional care and support to people with learning disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will lead in delivering high-quality, person-centered support, ensuring the safety and promoting the independence of those in our care.

• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Pay Scale:£12.79
• Contract: Permanent

About You:

• Team-oriented, effective communicator, active listener, proactive, and supportive.
• Willing to work towards or possessing a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Management:Assist with daily operations and team coordination.
• Resource Management: Manage staff schedules, handle absences, and ensure coverage.
• Governance and safeguarding: adhere to protocols and manage service risks effectively.
• Health and Well-Being: Promote and maintain health and well-being standards.
• Compliance: Ensure the service meets all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Communication: Foster clear and effective communication across the team.
• Team Leadership:Lead and develop a competent team to fulfil service needs.
• Professional Development:Enhance skills for participation in professional meetings.
• Documentation:Oversee the accuracy and accessibility of all service documentation.
• Emotional Support:Monitor and respond to the emotional needs of the service.
