Functional Consultant - Oracle VCP/Demantra Module

Location : Hybrid (Hyderabad). Experience required : 5 years. Position Summary : We are seeking a skilled and experienced VCP / Demantra Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle's Value Chain Planning (VCP), Demantra applications, with a focus on implementing, configuring, and supporting advanced planning solutions for supply chain management. Job Description : - Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 is essential, and exposure to Oracle Fusion SCM/SCP modules is a significant advantage. - This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in VCP / Demantra modules, and the ability to collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver effective solutions. - The candidate should also have experience in at least one full life cycle implementation. Key Responsibilities : Implementation & Configuration : - Lead and participate in the design, implementation, and configuration of VCP/Demantra modules (e., Demand Management, Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Collaborative Planning, Real-Time Sales and Operations Planning). - Customize and enhance VCP/Demantra functionalities to meet specific business needs. - Assist in the setup of forecasting models, workflows, and data integration between VCP/Demantra and other Oracle modules or third-party systems. - Leverage experience with Oracle Fusion implementations, particularly in SCM/SCP modules, to guide the integration and enhancement of planning solutions. Business Process Analysis : - Analyze and document current business processes related to supply chain planning. - Work with stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in demand forecasting, inventory planning, and S&OP processes. - Develop functional specifications for required enhancements or new functionalities. Support & Maintenance : - Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for VCP/Demantra applications. - Work with technical teams to resolve application issues and ensure system stability. - Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring that planning cycles are completed on time and accurately. User Training & Documentation : - Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to end-users and stakeholders. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and enhancements. - Ensure users are proficient in using the VCP/Demantra applications for their specific roles. - Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of VCP/Demantra-related projects. - Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables for VCP/Demantra implementation or enhancement projects. - Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of VCP/Demantra with other enterprise systems. Education and Experience : - Bachelors / master's degree in engineering / computer applications / information technology is must. - 5 - 7 years of working experience in Oracle VCP/Demantra applications in a functional role. - Proven experience in implementing and configuring Oracle VCP/Demantra modules. - Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 is a must. - Experience in managing or participating in at least one full life cycle implementation of supply chain planning solutions is a must. - Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion implementations, particularly in SCM/SCP modules is preferred. - Proficient in Oracle VCP modules: Demantra, ASCP, CP, IO, etc. - Strong understanding of demand planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP processes. - Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, and other Oracle development tools is advantageous. - Experience with data integration tools and techniques, including ETL processes.
