DevOps & Data Engineer

Profile : DevOps and Data Engineer Job description : This role is a Hybrid DevOps and Data Engineering. Mode : WFO/WFH Roles & responsibilities : - Setting up tools and required infrastructure - Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation - Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project. - Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs - Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage - Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible - Identifying and deploying cyber security measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management - Incidence management and root cause analysis - Coordination and communication within the team and with customers - Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools - Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline) - Mentoring and guiding the team members - Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs - Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer - Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time. - Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality. - Co-ordinate with multiple teams ensuring smooth progress in the deployment - Support Tech team continuous integration build environment and automated package migration processes - Ensuring the security and compliance of the DevOps infrastructure and implementing best practices for security and compliance. - Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the DevOps infrastructure and software - Assist in the maintenance and administration of build/release systems. - Design, document, implement, and maintain scripts to enhance current build/release processes - Experience in Linux and Shell scripting, preferably PowerShell. - Good experience working on agile methodology Qualifications and Requirements : - Completed Bachelors degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible - 1 years of relevant engineering experience - Azure certification is preferred. - Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Key Vault and Storage Accounts. - Experience working with a Data Engineering team and understanding of Data Engineering practices. - Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space - Experience with bug tracking and task management software such as JIRA, etc. - Experienced in managing outages, customer escalations, crisis management, and other similar circumstances. - Experience with CI/CD principles and best practices including Azure DevOps and Repos. - Experience with ARM Templates, Terraform.
