We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team! This is a great job for a tenacious self-starter who is keen to take their career to the next step working with the UK's leading Insurance, Retirement and Wealth business!
A bit about the job:
This role is key to our business and plays an integral part to us building relationships with brokers and advisers, which allows us to identify opportunities to support and educate them on our Retirement Propositions. This ensures that they are getting the best outcome for their customers as well increasing our market share in our respective markets. This is a predominately telephony-based role aligned to the Equity Release, Annuity and Long Term Care Markets within Distribution. These products form a core part of our Insurance, Wealth and Retirement (IWR) strategy and play an important role in the success of the IWR business.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
- The ability to collaborate with the wider distribution team to generate sales to meet the sales plan
- High levels of proactivity with outbound calls to build and cultivate relationships in our markets, whilst also ensuring that service and risk is managed
- Proficient in utilising different forms of communication mediums i.e. phone, email, webinars, and LinkedIn to generate leads
- Previous experience in managing relationships and ability to self-monitor performance by using Business Intelligence tools such as Salesforce & Qlik to create and act on adviser opportunities
- Identify opportunities with advisers to trade and educate them on our propositions and coordinate issue resolution by liaising with internal stakeholders

- Starting salary up to £35,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
