Salary: £24,909 - £27,317 per annum (or pro-rata for part-time roles)
Contract: Full-Time, 39 hours per week (Part-Time roles also available)

About Us:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Childcare Workers to join our team at Hesketh Bank. Our service provides a holistic approach, offering residential care, education, and health support to children and young people in need.
The Role:
As a Childcare Worker, you will be an integral part of a supportive staff team, working on a 24-hour rota, 7 days a week. Your role will involve:

Providing care in a children's residential home, adhering to Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
Delivering trauma-informed care based on psychological formulations.
Building strong relationships with young people to ensure their safety and well-being.
Preparing young people for a positive transition into adulthood through relational care.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:

Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards it.
Be committed to supporting vulnerable and traumatised young people.
Demonstrate good childcare practices and understand the needs of children and young people.
Handle emotional and physical conflict and respond appropriately to crises.
Understand child development, attachment, and the impact of trauma.
