Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Required - Cardiff
We are currently looking to support one of our clients, who are actively recruiting for a maintenance engineer on a prestigious site in Cardiff.
They are looking for a fully qualified and gas safe registered maintenance engineer, with a plumbing background to work on both planned and reactive maintenance on a shift basis.
The role will consist of 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off. Duties will include :
* undertake the maintenance and repair of the Gas and Plumbing and Mechanical service, including fabric tasks of buildings as required under contract.
* carry out reactive tasks within SLA's
* Take ownership of the buildings and sub contractors
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports
* Carry out Reactive and emergency tasks and complete the associated paperwork
* Use handheld technology within the allocated timescales
* Ensure that all tasks are completed within the contractual time scales
* To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time
The successful applicant for this role will ideally be qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 and be able to display gas safe certification.
On offer is a permanent position with starting salary of £38,000 with £2,500 shift allowance. Salary will rise to £40,000 plus shift allowance after you pass probation period
