Job Description

Search Construction is currently working with a number of high profile constructions who are working on a wide range of exciting new projects in 2024 throughout Edinburgh, Lothians and Borders areas.

Search Construction has requirements for experienced Demolition Labourers. The Demolition Labourers are required for a major commercial project based in Edinburgh and is long term till August 2025.

Please apply if you can:

* Provide a valid CSCS/CCDO card
* Provide details of your working knowledge of demolition practices
* Using Grinders, Breakers, Skill saws and hammers
* Work at height using a harness
* Work under own initiative and as part of a team
* Be reliable and are used to work the hours required
* Be flexible and be able to prioritise tasks
* Provide 2 working references

Duties will include:

Working at height
Removing external cladding, floor by floor
Internal demolition works
General tidy up of site
Other associated tasksPay Rate: £16 per hour.

Successful candidates will be required to have Asbestos Awareness certification and Face fit that will be provided.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.00 - 19.00 Monday to Friday, 8 - 4 Saturday and Sunday.
