You will be joining a reputable law firm located in Edinburgh City Centre.
Your new role
As a Legal Personal Assistant, you will be responsible for providing PA, administrative and secretarial support to a small group of fee earners. Your key responsibilities include:
Complex diary and mailbox management
Drafting and proofreading important legal documents
Booking of travel and other commitments, and organising catering and equipment
Assisting with meetings and writing of minutes
Being a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
Managing the invoicing process (queries, sending of invoices and arranging purchase orders)
Handling expenses
General administrative tasks (filing, scanning, paper storage, organising etc.)
What you'll need to succeed
Litigation experience is highly desirable
Previous experience working as a Legal PA
Adaptable and capable of grasping new legal systems
A proactive individual who is happy to go the extra mile for their team and fee earners
Strong organisational skills
Attention to detail
