Job Description
First People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a specialist subcontractor based in Ayrshire. Our client is a growing company specialising in windows, doors, and curtain walling for commercial projects, local authorities, and housing associations
The company is expanding its operations, with new offices in Ayrshire and additional facilities in the south of England. This role presents an excellent opportunity for growth as part of an experienced team, with potential to take on greater responsibilities in the future.
About the Role:
In this role, you'll work closely with senior management, supporting a variety of tasks across design, commercial administration and project management.
Key responsibilities include:
Limited AutoCAD work
Project management overview
Providing technical information and support to customers
Extracting and reviewing information on tenders
Assisting with surveying and commercial management on projects
Supporting project tenderingThis position would suit someone with a design background, as you'll need to be able to read and interpret drawings. The role involves some estimating and commercial exposure, making it ideal for someone who is keen to develop skills in both technical and commercial areas.
What We're Looking For:
Recent graduate or HND qualified (preferably in Architectural Technology or a construction related field)
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
