Job Description

Community Integrated Care has a new and exciting opportunity for an expert eLearning Specialist (maternity cover fixed 12 months) to join the Learning & Development Centre of Excellence team.

Day-to-day


Working flexibly between working remotely and our support services office in Widnes, you’ll work within the Capability team to create exciting and engaging eLearning for our colleagues. Day to day you’ll be:


  • Working closely with a variety of stakeholders including the capability development team and Subject Matter Experts to clarify learning outcomes, agree a design brief, storyboard and develop great learning solutions.
  • Developing creative, attention grabbing, digital solutions in the form of eLearning, engaging and involving the people we support where possible.
  • Exploring the most effective form of digital learning solutions that have our colleagues and the people we support at the centre.
  • Pilot learning solutions to the people that matter, gather feedback and make changes in line.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert to colleagues and the wider organisation, providing advice and guidance as necessary.
  • Proactively proposing creative ideas to enhance our current learning offer and learner engagement.
  • Updating existing eLearning modules in response to changes in legislation, user feedback and fixes.
  • Sourcing, engaging and developing effective relationships with external training providers.

  • You’ll enjoy working within a team, sharing best practices, and design ideas.


Skills And Experience

  • You’ll have previous experience in developing high quality eLearning materials.
  • You will be skilled in the use of rapid eLearning Course authoring tools (Articulate, Camtasia, vYond, Adobe Creative Cloud).
  • You will have previous experience as an instructional designer and/or eLearning Developer.
  • You’ll have the ability to create course storyboards/rapid prototypes and communicate these ideas effectively to stakeholders at all levels!
  • You’ll have experience of managing a project, including communications and stakeholder management.
  • You have a track record in taking the lead in solving problems and driving results quickly.
  • You may have previously sourced, implemented and managed a Learning Management System - Cornerstone would be advantageous!
