Backend Developer - Java/Python

Job Description : - 7 years of experience as a Backend Engineer with a focus on API work - 4 years of experience with Java - 2 years of experience with Azure - Hands-on experience dealing with and implementing different types of API models (REST, SOAP, gRPC, etc.) and their pros and cons - Knowledgeable in best practices in API contract testing and management - Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis and Azure Blob Storage (BLOB) Key Responsibilities : - Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices to support front-end applications. - Implement and manage data storage solutions using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis. - Utilize Azure Blob Storage for efficient data management and retrieval. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments. - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 7 years of experience in backend development. - Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, C#). - Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for data management. - Knowledge of caching strategies and experience with Redis. - Familiarity with Azure Blob Storage and its integration with applications. - Understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture. - Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and services, particularly Azure. - Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
