Senior IT Manager - IT Infrastructure

Role Description : The Senior Manager/Head - IT will be responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure, cloud services, security, and AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, with expertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity. This role requires excellent leadership, strategic planning, and technical expertise to ensure the efficient operation and security of IT systems. Key Responsibilities : - Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data centers. - Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of all IT systems. - Lead the deployment and management of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Develop and execute cloud migration strategies and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. - Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems. - Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks. - Stay updated with the latest security trends and threats and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. - Ensure best practices for AWS architecture and security are followed. - Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional development. - Set clear goals and objectives for the IT team and monitor their progress. - Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives. - Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for their adoption. - Prepare and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources. - Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. - Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met. Qualifications : - B.Tech / BE with 14 years of experience managing IT infrastructure and support. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, focusing on infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity. - Experience with AWS, cybersecurity, and compliance standards. - Strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills (ref:hirist.tech)
