Quantity Surveyor

Job Description MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with Translink for an exciting new permanent opportunity based in Belfast for a Quantity Surveyor. About the role You will provide cost and contract management services to support construction project planning and delivery including preparation of tender documentation, cost / value management, contract management and performance measurement. In addition, you will support Translink's Project Delivery function in developing and maintaining a best practice assurance framework for cost and contract management and to support the successful delivery of construction projects. Reporting to Commercial Manager you will work closely with Project Managers and external Cost Managers / Quantity Surveyors and Contractors. Essential Criteria Minimum of a Degree in Quantity Surveying or other relevant Construction related subject Minimum of 2 years' experience in a construction contract environment Experience with NEC 3 or 4 contracts Experience in measurement and valuation of construction works. Experience of project management processes in relation to duties of the role Experience of using MS Office including Word and Excel Desirable Criteria Possess Professional Chartership or be willing to obtain within a defined period Minimum of 3 years' experience in a construction contract environment Experience in preparing tender / contract documents.
