Senior Site Engineer (Major Project - Co. Donegal)

Your new company Your new company is a construction & civil engineering contractor based in Co. Donegal with over 30 years of proven success in delivering medium to large scale projects across commercial, industrial, retail & leisure and educational industries. During this company's 30-year span, they have developed a strong reputation for successful and accurate completion of projects, and they are looking to uphold this strong reputation in their next major project where they are recruiting for Senior Site Engineers. Your new role You will join the team as Senior Site Engineer on a new 110-bed community nursing unit valued over €50m. The unit is expected to be fully complete by the first quarter of 2026. The upcoming project will have a major impact within the community and has attracted attention from many local government officials who have stressed the importance of this project to the people of the North West. Reporting to senior management team, you will be responsible for all aspects of engineering on this major project including subcontractor and client liaison, site supervision, quality control, progress reporting, setting out and HSEQ. What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will have previous Site Engineering experience in a senior role and be capable in setting out sites and managing labour force, albeit setting out will not be the primary function of the role. Previous experience in medium-large scale commercial construction is preferable. Ideally you will also have experience working on building projects such as steel or concrete frame buildings. Due to site location, you will be a commutable distance from Co. Donegal / North-West of the country.
