Chauffeur

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, and eager Chauffeur/Handyperson to join a well-established household near Kettering in Northamptonshire.

The role offers room for growth within the household and the Principals expanding business ventures. This is a varied position requiring both chauffeur and maintenance duties, including potential travel with the Principal to locations such as New York, Los Angeles, and Antigua.

Responsibilities of the Chauffeur/Handyperson near Kettering include:

• In the UK, chauffeur duties, including regular Friday and Saturday evening supper runs and occasional early morning airport transfers
• Maintenance and cleaning of the Principals three vehicles, ensuring they are always prepared for use
• Undertake maintenance jobs around the household when not driving
• Take charge of maintenance projects
• If required, travel with the Principal, including trips to New York and LA for 1-2 weeks, and Antigua for around 2-4 weeks
• Whilst travelling, consistently taking the initiative to identify and address any additional tasks, such as handling care hire
• If applicable, maintaining the households own vehicles, liaising with external contractors as needed, overseeing apartment maintenance, and managing other household errands

• Flexible with availability, particularly on Fridays and Saturdays, while rarely being called upon Monday to Thursday
• A driving licence and the ability to handle long-distance travel confidently
• A fluent English speaker
• Proactive, using initiative to anticipate the Principals needs
• Willing to develop within the role and the Principals companies
• Possession of an advanced chauffeur course or Close Protection Officer (CPO) training is a plus (training can be provided if not already qualified)
• Enthusiastic and willing to take on new challenges as the role evolves

Accommodation and expenses will be provided when travelling with the Principal.
Advanced travel schedules will be shared, with trips planned up to a year in advance.

Maximum 30 hours per week on call.

Near Kettering, Northamptonshire with frequent travel across the UK and abroad.

Depending on experience and prior earnings.
