Software Asset Manager
£50,000 - £52,000 + excellent benefits
Hybrid (1 day/week in Bristol)
We are looking for a dynamic and customer focused Software Asset Manager to lead a team (3) and oversee and optimise our client’s software portfolio, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and regulations.
You will be responsible for tracking software usage, managing licenses, and implementing strategies to minimise costs while maximising the efficiency of software assets.
Ideally you will have:
Significant experience managing software assets in a large complex organisation.
Specialist expertise in licensing agreements and compliance.
Experience in report writing.
A demonstrable working knowledge of ITIL equivalent to Foundation Level.
Leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Knowledge and understanding of the principles, theory and practices of IT Services delivery, as well as an awareness of broader/relevant information technologies.
Demonstrates ability to maintain effective relations with service suppliers to achieve successful issue resolution.
Experienced in managing IT contracts, internal/external stakeholders, and suppliers.
