About the Role:
Are you an experienced Risk Engineer ready to lead high-impact projects in the utilities sector? Our client, a well-established leader in the industry, is seeking a Lead Risk Engineer to join their team in Warwick on an initial 12-month contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Manage Risk Registers: Collaborate with project engineers and managers to develop comprehensive risk registers, proactively identifying risks and opportunities across multiple projects.
- Risk Analysis & Mitigation: Utilise software such as Predict, AtRisk, Power BI, and MS Office to manage and assess risk factors, ensuring smooth project delivery.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide risk insights that influence critical decision-making.
- Reporting & Leadership: Report directly to the Senior Engineer and act as a key point of contact for risk-related discussions. You'll also contribute your expertise to project planning and execution.
About You:
To excel as a Lead Risk Engineer, you should bring:
- Proven Risk Engineering Experience: Background in engineering with solid experience in risk management, ideally within project delivery.
- Utilities Industry Knowledge: While not mandatory, a strong understanding of the utilities sector will give you an edge.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in risk analysis software tools like Predict, AtRisk, and Power BI.
- Collaborative Mindset: A team player, comfortable liaising with engineers, project managers, and senior leadership.
- Strong Communicator: Able to present complex risk data in a clear and actionable manner to stakeholders.
