Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leader in Structural Steel design and fabrication on the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor. About the company This company is a leading force in the structural steel industry. Working on Steel design, fabrication and erection. Their portfolio includes Education, Commercial, Defence and Industrial projects across the UK and Ireland. They boast strong relationships with many main contractors. Your new role as Quantity Surveyor Work on projects from inception to completion. Work on cost management, including monitoring and managing project budgets. Assist on tenders. Negotiate contracts with clients. Assess commercial risks. Create monthly Cost Value Reports. Work closely with the Operations Director. Knowledge of cost estimation software (BIM, CAD measure, Cost-X etc.) Contract knowledge.
