Position: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – Duty
Band: 6
Location: Manchester
Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
Schedule: Full-time (Days)

Hourly Rate: £25
A Glimpse Into Your Day as a Community RMN:
As a Duty Worker, your role is fast-paced and critical in managing urgent mental health cases. You’ll:
Triage and prioritize referrals, assessing immediate care needs.
Respond to crises, providing therapeutic support and making decisions on next steps, such as hospitalization or community resources.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure swift, coordinated care.
Conduct risk assessments to ensure patient safety.
Document interactions and update care plans to maintain continuity of care.
Requirements:
NMC Registration as a mental health nurse (RMN).
Proven community-based experience.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Capable of working independently as well as within a team.
A genuine commitment to providing high-quality care to every patient.
