Account Manager, News & Current Affairs

Base salary $88K to $105K, depending on experience

The Role


Support the achievement of revenue goals for the ABC Commercial Syndication business in coordinating News and Current Affairs sales and content delivery to all territories and platforms. A real ‘all-rounder’ role getting a taste of all things News Syndication and working out of the Ultimo office, this is a full-time 10 to 11-month maternity leave backfill contract.


The Job
Working closely with the Sales Manager, you will:

Manage the international sales re-version process through production, sales, distribution, rights checks, clearances, contracts, invoices and marketing of all current affairs programs.
Develop, coordinate and maintain client records and database
Coordinate and monitor the existing digital clients to ensure delivery process is smoot
Support the Sales Manager, Newscaff in overseeing the Ad supported syndication such as YouTube, Microsoft, Apple News and work with the new content partnerships

About You

A natural communicator, with proven experience effectively liaising with key stakeholders, you'll have significant experience in an international content sales and distribution environment.


You’ll also have:



Advanced understanding of rights and clearance
Experience in budget monitoring and control and debtor management skills.
