Job Description
Maintenance Engineer, Lanarkshire, Salary £35,000 to £40,000 per annum + Overtime Available!
Maintenance engineer required to work for an excellent Structural steel fabrication and construction company, covering preventative maintenance works across Lanarkshire. Maintenance engineers with an electrical bias required.
Key responsibilities:
* Work as part of a team to fault find and repair breakdowns on machines and plant equipment, i.e., drills, blaster, saws, conveyors, welding units and overhead cranes.
* Carry out preventative maintenance i.e., cleaning, lubricating and adjusting equipment to ensure optimal functionality and in line with the maintenance plans, updating files accordingly.
* Adhere to electrical safety regulations to ensure a safe environment.
* Maintain records of maintenance activities such as inspection reports, repair logs, and equipment performance data.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Must have a recognized trade apprenticeship or relevant Electrical qualification.
* Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
* 18th Edition qualification.
* Carry out routine scheduled maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
* Proficiency in electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
* The ability to handle a varied and demanding workload and work to strict deadlines.
