Quantity Surveyor - Mechanical or Electrical Biased

Role Overview
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will assist in the commercial control of multiple projects, ensuring the delivery of expected contract margins while maintaining excellent service standards. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Submitting all contractual notices and administering contracts effectively.
- Performing take-offs to identify changes in drawings.
- Monitoring subcontract costs and labour allocations.
- Managing risk and ensuring material purchases align with tender allowances.
- Communicating cost overruns or risks to senior management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience and/or suitable professional examination.
- Experience with multi-discipline contracting organisations is essential.
- Familiarity with the NEC contract format and framework contracts is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a full driving licence are required.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Skills and Knowledge
- Advanced Microsoft Excel training or experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively at senior levels within the organisation and with client representatives.
- Capability to influence and negotiate effectively.
